Dry AMD can turn into wet AMD
Are You at Risk?*
If you currently have (or previously had) wet AMD in one eye and have dry AMD
in your other eye, use the contacts below regarding a research study
investigating reducing the risk of dry AMD progressing to wet AMD.
* People who have wet AMD in one eye and dry AMD in the second eye are at
high risk of developing wet AMD in the second eye within 5 years. (42% to 58%
according to Bressler et al 1990 and Macular Photocoagulation Study Group 1991
and 1997.
